what you can do to get your business started in accepting credit
cards.

1.) Inform Yourself:
Read
through our website and look at the different services and products
available to you. The first decision to make is determining what
type of processing you need: Software/Virtual Processing or Point of
Sale Terminal. If your primary business location is retail/store
front, where all cards are "swiped", then a
POS
Terminal
is for you. If the bulk of your business is done through
telephone/mail order/Internet sales, then check out
Authorizer,
PC-Charge,
Secure Pay,
Verisign,
or
Authorize. Net.
2.) Fill Out The Pre-Application:
Take
a moment to fill out the
pre-application.
This will help us to get a picture of what your company does. The
more descriptive you are, the better we can help you.
After
we receive your pre-application, we will review it and contact you
to confirm the information that you submitted. You will have an
opportunity to discuss with an Northern Merchant Services
Representative any questions you may have and find out any
additional information. |

 The Package:
A
package containing all the necessary applications, paperwork, lease
forms, etc. will be mailed to you. Complete instructions are
included, explaining what needs to be signed, any additional
information that you may need to complete the sign-up process, and
what needs to be returned to Northern Merchant Services to complete
the process. |

3.) Recieve Approval:
Once
we receive the application packet, it will take approximately 4-5
business days to obtain approval for your merchant account. Once
approval is gained, we will contact you confirming this, and to
review your fees and rates. Your software or POS terminal will be
sent to you. |

Finally Congratulations: After
you receive your software or POS terminal, you are ready to set it
up and
start accepting
Credit Cards! |
